Disengagement

Disengagement is powerful! We want, and often need our dog to disengage from the environment (dogs,
people, bikes, etc) without having to react. Sometimes
our dogs need to learn to disengage from us (for example, in separation related behaviours where dogs struggle to not be in our presence or demand behaviour like barking at us to demand we do something – such as toss a ball for them).
