Self-Control or impulse control is your dog’s ability to control themselves around resources such as toys, food, you, passion rewards, and distractions….whatever the environment has thrown at them. This is a great concept to work on if your dog is overexuberant, excited, or struggles with disengagement. Self-Control often leads in as a superb foundation layer into Disengagement Games.
