2 Paws On-Level 1

2 Paws On is a perfect conversation starting when you take your dog to a new location and need to get them engaged with you. This simple game builds a bunch of concepts and is the building block for other more challenging games, as well as tricks. Note that it is sometimes easier if you use an object that is a few inches high so its boundary is clearly defined for your dog.

For dog-dog reactivity or dogs that have a difficult time in changing environments, 2 paws up can be a huge help so be sure to play these variations of the game:

2 paws on, stationary, off-leash, inside house
2 paws on, moving, off-leash, inside house
2 paws on, moving, on-leash, inside house
2 paws on, moving, on-leash, inside house
2 paws on, moving, on-leash, outside

Criteria
Dog will place both front paws on an object on cue. There is no height requirement for the object.
