This game is incredibly easy to setup and a great way to teach your dog not to be afraid or anxious of novel objects. Play it indoors using whatever household items you have of different consistencies and sizes (appropriate for your dog’s size of course) and outdoors using the novelty Mother Nature provides and whatever items you have available or encounter on your outings in the real world.

Be flexible and adjust the length of the path according to your dog’s needs and remember the goal is to go slow and not force your dog over any item. If your dog misses an item in your balance path it is all information that you can use to help your dog.
