The Bowl games teach your dog 4 levels of disengagement through the 4 levels of the games. The first level taught your dog to not engage with the distraction (i.e., the bowl with food) and to wait for permission. 

Level 2 of the bowl games teaches your dog to not engage with the distraction and to listen to us (i.e., do a behaviour on cue) before being granted permission.  Be sure that your dog has a few well cue’d behaviours as using the same behaviour over and over will be too predictable.
