Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT) is a system of gentle, rhythmic movements that help to evaluate our dog’s physical structure in movement. While a treadmill is ideal as it can be set to a specific speed to produce the RMT for an endurance workout, the same can be done without a tread mill simply through walking or jogging with your dog at a consistent pace.
Long-term enduarance training will decrease your’s and your dog’s heart rate, increase the stroke volume of the heart as well as blood flow to muscles, and also increase muscle tone. Other benefits include weight loss, improved sleep quality, prevntion of age-related decline in cognition and maintenance of stabilization.
For purposes of obtaining CCF1 for your dog, if you don’t have a treadmill please submit a short video clip of what alternative cardio exercise your dog did as an alternative.
