Please read these Terms & Conditions to ensure that the training/services/events you register or subscribing for are suitable for you and your dog before purchasing. If in doubt, please contact us for assistance. Payment must be made at time of registration.
When you are granted access to our online services, you agree that you will:
- set a strong password (i.e., at least 8 characters long with at least 1 number, 1 capital, 1 lowercase character),
- not share your account credentials with anyone,
- not allow anyone else to access the online services via your account,
- not copy, record or do screen captures of any of the content,
- not do anything to compromise the integrity of the system, and
- will report any issues or concerns with the service to bark@poochpartners.ca
We understand that sometimes people need a little time to be sure what they booked is truly what they need, so we operate a 7 day “think about it” policy.
How our 7 day “think about it” policy works
After you purchase any services with us online you have a 7 days to change your mind and get a refund (subject to a 5% service charge to cover administrative and POS fees) AS LONG AS THE SERVICE DOES NOT COMMENCE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF YOUR PURCHASE. Simply log into your account and select the Cancel option. As long as your cancellation was submitted at least 7 days prior to the start of the services purchased, we will process your refund.
Refund Policy
We operate no refund policy outside of our “think about it” period for all purchases of services and products. No exceptions.
For clarity, all self-study product sales are non-refundable, non-transferable and valid only for the time period indicated for the course at the time of purchase. Subscription services are non-refundable and non-transferable. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your online account; however, no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the subscription.
Use ’em or Lose ’em Policy for Group Sessions
Once you have purchased a service from us that is offered in group sessions, we operate a “use ’em or lose ’em” policy. For example, if you have purchased a Lifeskills group training package and miss one or more of the five scheduled session, then you have forfeited those sessions and there is no opportunity for re-scheduling.
For online self-study courses, your access will be granted on the day of purchase. Your access will be valid for the period indicated for that course, after which it will automatically be terminated regardless of whether you have accessed or completed course.
Re-scheduling of Private Sessions
We require at least 24 hrs written notice (text or email) to be able to re-schedule private sessions and avoid forfeiture of a missed session.
Changes at Our Discretion
At our discretion in-person sessions may be done through other means (i.e. virtual, remote sessions) in the event of unforeseen circumstances that restrict in-person sessions such as increment weather, pandemic, etc. We may also choose to terminate our services with a client through written notice prior to a scheduled session. As noted earlier, there are no refunds issued for any reason outside of our 7-day “think about it” policy.
Class Format
We book sessions back-to-back so time is of the essence. Unless otherwise stated, training classes commence at the scheduled time with a typical one hour training session comprised of 5-15 minutes for arrival, setup and review, followed by 30-40 minutes of demonstrations and/or practical exercises, and concluding with 5-15 minutes for questions/take down and exiting. This means that a class may be completed in less than 60 minutes, and in all circumstances, students will have exited the training session within a 60-minute maximum.
For outdoor fitness activities, participants must register at least 1 full day ahead of the scheduled session they wish to attend. In cases where there is a restriction on number of participants, first come first serve will apply. All sessions will commence at the scheduled time and typically are completed in 45-60 minutes.
